The problem: In affected vehicles, condensation within headlight or taillight may remain long after the lights have been turned on. Moisture should dissipate within one hour after the lights have been turned on. If it does not, moisture may have penetrated the light assembly due to either a crack or manufacturing fault.

Corrective action: Dealers will inspect suspect lighting assemblies and replace as approved.

Warranty info: This service campaign is being performed free of charge under a special campaign designed to address faulty light assemblies. If the moisture is due to a crack, replacement will not be covered and will be the responsibility of the owner. If due to a manufacturing fault with the unit, then replacement will be covered.
