The Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup truck has shed a bit of its camouflage.
This is the first time we’ve seen the X-Class sporting the new front end with Mercedes-Benz styling, and it’s starting to look a lot less like the Nissan Navara it is based on. Up front, you can see LED daytime running lights, while the grille, lower front hood, and bumper carry Mercedes-Benz’s design language. The rear also now has the correct bumper along with what appears to be the production tail lights.
Perhaps most interesting is that this particular prototype has fuel caps on both sides, suggesting a possible plug-in hybrid powertrain.
