Kia plans to roll out its new sports sedan in early January and a photo of the car showing its side profile has leaked online.
Courtesy of the photo above shows the new GT from the side, giving away most of its syling cues. Kia is also officially teasing the car with a new video showing it testing at the Nürburgring, hitting a top speed of 151 mph (244 km/h).
The car will debut at the Detroit Motor Show on January 8, as the first sports sedan to ever come from the brand.
Under the hood, a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 could be used as the high-performance option while a smaller 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder is expected to serve as the base engine. A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 could also find its way into this car.
