The Karma Revero launch has officially started.
The automaker has brought back the Fisker Karma under a new brand and model name, with the first units being loaded onto transport trucks at Karma’s Moreno Valley production facility last Friday. Those first production cars will be heading to the 10 Karma retailer showrooms in the U.S. and Canada. Over 800 Karma Automotive employees participated in the private “Delivery Day” ceremony to celebrate the milestone.

Not much has changed with the Karma Revero since it was first offered as the Fisker Karma. The plug-in hybrid features a pair of electric motors driving the rear wheels, generating 403 horsepower and 981 pound-feet of torque. There’s an electric-only driving range of around 50 miles (80 kilometers), but there’s an onboard gasoline generator that can extend range up to 300 miles.
“Karma has moved from a product development company to an automotive manufacturer,” said Jim Taylor, Chief Revenue Officer. “We have completed the critical steps to become a true luxury vehicle OEM. The launch is a great accomplishment for our Company and all our team members.”
