Additional details on the upcoming 2018 Jaguar F-Pace SVR have surfaced ahead of the high performance SUV’s debut later this year.

The F-Pace SVR is expected to use the F-Type SVR’s powertrain, which consists of a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 producing 567 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, hooked to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It should also come with the latest version of Jag’s all-wheel drive system along with suspension and brake upgrades as well.

The F-Type SVR can sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 mph, however it’s unlikely that the heavier F-Pace with the same powertrain will be able to mimic these figures. A 0-60 mph max of about 4 seconds seems plausible for the F-Pace SVR, along with a top speed of around 180 mph.

Cosmetically, the F-Pace SVR will benefit from a fairly typical sport makeover. A reworked front end with large air intakes, side skirts and a new rear diffuser should all arrive, along with a quad-outlet titanium exhaust system, rear hatch spoiler and large SVR wheels. The cabin will likely receive similar trim and appointments to the F-Type SVR.

The F-Pace SVR should start at around $85,000 to $90,000 USD when it arrives on U.S. dealer lots. Deliveries should begin sometime next year following the performance SUV’s debut sometime later this year.
