Hyundai has priced its unique subscription service for the Ioniq Electric, which is currently only offered to consumers in California only.
The subscription service, which Hyundai has named Unlimited+, allows consumers to get behind the wheel of the Ioniq Electric without purchasing the car outright. There’s no mileage cap with the subscription and best of all, all service and wear expenses for the first 50,000 miles are covered by Hyundai.

Hyundai is asking for a minimum of $2,500 down for the Unlimited+ program plus a set monthly fee for a term of 36 months. The monthly fee varies depending on on how well-equipped the Ioniq Electric in question is. The base model will cost $275 a month, while the middle of the range Limited will cost $305 monthly. The range-topping ‘Ultimate’ package will cost $365 a month.
The program differs from a typical lease in that the consumer doesn’t have to pay initial tax, title and license fees and there are no mileage caps. As we mentioned above, Hyundai is currently only offering its Unlimited+ program to Californian car shoppers, but if it’s successful the Korean automaker could expand it to the other regions within the U.S.
