Hyundai unveiled another pickup truck concept at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show.
Based on the existing Hyundai Creta compact SUV that’s sold in India and other markets, the Creta STC (Sport Truck Concept) is reportedly 15-inches longer, three-inches wider and riding on an eight-inch longer wheelbase compared to the SUV. In the back, the bed provides about 30 cubic feet of storage space and is about 50-inches long, 50-inches wide and 20-inches tall. The overall profile of the Creta STC however resembles the Hyundai Santa Cruze pickup concept that bowed at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
Unfortunately Hyundai didn’t disclose anything about possible engines or drivetrains.

Although the Hyundai Creta STC resembles more of a production pickup compared to the Santa Cruz concept, the Korean automaker has yet to confirm that it will move forward with an entry in the segment. Still, this is the second truck concept Hyundai has unveiled in as many years and it’s looking more likely a production model will head to production. The big question remains whether it will be sold in the U.S.
