Albeit in 1:43 scale…
Michael Schumacher was a monster behind the wheel, and never was that more evident than the utterly demoralizing dominance he displayed during the 2004 season. Schumi won 12 out of the first 13 races and would eventually end the season with 13 race victories from 18 contests held that season.
The Ferrari F2004 was so effective that year the team had the constructors championship wrapped up by Round 13 in Hungary, with Michael securing the Driver’s Championship the following round in Belgium, en route to an epic 83 percent win rate for the Scuderia.
As a tribute to the preeminence of the Schumi/Scuderia pairing high-end Italian model company, BBR, released a series of limited edition models of the F2004. Now CharityStars is offering two of these 1:43 scale models for auction, complete with certificate of authenticity.

First up is the F2004 used by Schumacher to stomp to victory in the 2004 Hungarian Grand Prix. Along with being the car that secured Ferrari’s sixth consecutive constructors championship, it was also the German’s last grand slam– pole position, race win, fastest lap.
The second model is from the 2004 Italian Grand Prix, in fact, it’s the same car Michael used in Hungary, but in low drag trim to maximize speed on the epic straights at Monza. After an early race spin Schumacher would place second, behind his teammate Rubens Barrichello, in a wild 1-2 finish on home soil. Barrichello’s fastest lap of 1:21.046 still stands as the lap record at Monza to this day, demonstrating the unbelievable raw pace the F2004 possessed.
The Hungarian GP model is number 303 out of 500, while the model from Monza is number 135 out of a scant 200 produced.
Both auctions will run until December 28, making these the perfect belated Christmas gift to yourself, or to a F1 mad friend. All proceeds from the auctions will go towards the Saints Foundation, which aims to benefit disadvantaged youth in Southampton, England.
