General Motors has registered the Cascada and Calibra names with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, hinting that the Buick lineup is about to get new additions.
The names were registered under the Opel brand, despite it not being active in the U.S. market. But GM has hinted in the past that the Opel Cascada could make its way to North America as a Buick model and it could carry the same name when it does.

The Calibra was a coupe sold in the 1990s based on the Opel Vectra and hints that a Regal coupe could be making a return to Buick’s model lineup. Of course, trademarks don’t always mean that an automaker will use the names, but it does indicate that they’re under consideration for the U.S. market.
