General Motors has added another 117,651 vehicles to its record-setting list of recalls in 2014.

The American automaker is calling back a long list of nameplates to address a potentially faulty chassis-control system that could fail and increase the risk of a crash. According to a report by , the comapny sent a stop-delivery notice to its dealers and GM has notified federal regulators of the upcoming recall that will replace “contaminated” chassis control modules. The problem can potentially cause an electrical short in the module, leading to an engine stall. Of the recalled vehicles 97,540 are in the U.S. while the rest have been sold in Canada, Mexico or have been exported.

The list of affected models include the Cadillac CTS, Escalade and Escalade ESV, the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana, Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Impala. All affected vehicles are from the 2013 and 2014 model years.

The company said it is unaware of any crashes, injuries or fatalities related to the defect and the automaker estimates that only about one perfect of the recalled vehicles have a bad control module that will need to be replaced. Approximately 4,500 of the affected vehicles are unsold and will be held in dealership inventory until a fix is available.

This marks the 69th recall for GM this year covering a total of over 29 million vehicles worldwide.
