GM is cutting the entry price on four of its popular models.
The Chevy Cruze and Equinox along with the Buick Lacrosse and GMC Terrain have all had their base price lowered by as much as $2,570.
The new Cruze L starts at $16,170, making it $1,575 cheaper than the current base model. A new L model also comes to the Equinox, making it $2,400 less expensive with a base price of $22,120.
The 2015 GMC Terrain gets a new ‘SL’ model, which carries a base price tag of $24,070, making it $2,490 less expensive. Finally, the new 2015 Buick Lacrosse SV1 has made the car $2,570 cheaper, carrying a base price tag of $31,065.
All of these price cuts help each one of the cars in their own segment, but they do not help dealers as GM had to cut dealer profit margins to make these changes. All of the above pricing does not include destination charges.
