Honda will unveil the all-new 2017 Civic Si Coupe and Sedan models online before they are shown in public for the first time at the New York Auto Show.

The Honda Civic Si was first previewed with a thinly veiled prototype model at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, but the production version will be introduced on April 6 on Honda’s YouTube channel at 8:00 AM PDT / 11:00 AM EDT. This is the first time we will get to see the Civic Si Sedan because, so far, only a coupe version has been previewed. The Japanese automaker will announce details on both models including engine horsepower, torque, price range, and when it will go on sale.

What we do know so far is that the new Honda Civic Si will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that Honda promises to deliver high torque. Rumor has it that figure will be 192 pound-feet. The engine will be paired to a six-speed manual transmission and other performance upgrades include a new active damper system, variable ratio steering system, and helical limited-slip differential.
