The final Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution will be auctioned off on eBay with proceeds going to charity.
The Japanese automaker is bidding farewell to its famous sports car, and the number-1600 car is being auctioned off with all proceeds going to Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. The auction will take place starting Thursday, September 8 at 9:00 AM Pacific / 12:00 PM Eastern and will end a week later on September 15 at the same time.
The auction also corresponds with national Hunger Action Month, when Feeding America and member food banks ask everyone in the U.S. to take action and fight hunger in their community all month long.

Powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition cranks out 303 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. The car is available with a five-speed manual transmission and special suspension tuning, which includes Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs. Exterior changes on the Final Edition include a black painted aluminum roof, gloss black center bumper and hood air outlet, dark chrome painted Enkei alloy wheels, dark chrome front grille surround and Final Edition badging. The final vehicle will be painted in New Diamond White Pearl.
