Expect to see a lot of Dodge vehicles in .
The American automaker has been a part of the franchise since the very beginning, and it has announced a promotional partnership with Universal Pictures for the next movie, releasing on April 14. The co-branded promotional campaign will include television spots, social media and digital extensions as well as licensed products. As we’ve seen from teaser images and other promotional videos, Dodge SRT Chargers and Challengers will be prominently featured in the upcoming movie.
All ads will feature clips from the movie, seamlessly blended with new scenes of Dodge’s and SRT’s performance vehicles. The first ads will begin airing on March 3, 2017.

Released today is “Muscle Heaven,” which stars Ludacris and Michelle Rodriguez. The 30-second spot primarily features the 2017 Dodge Challenger and before you wonder if it’s the Demon, it’s likely not. It’s still unclear whether the vehicles being used in the movie are the Challenger Demons, or if they have been modified to resemble what the production Demon will look like. But the Demon logo is being shown as part of the ad, so it’s something Dodge is shining the spotlight on.
“Fast Dodge cars, adrenaline-filled action and family have fueled the franchise from the beginning,” said Tim Kuniskis, head of passenger car brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA-North America. “For more than 15 years, the series has showcased some of the world’s most iconic and significant performance vehicles, and will continue this tradition.”
