The facelifted Maserati Ghibli should make its debut this year but spy photographers have already caught it testing.
The Italian automaker has been caught testing the facelifted Ghibli prototype in Sweden, braving the snowy conditions. Exterior changes will include new headlights and tail lights, as well as redesigned front and rear bumpers. The front grille also appears to be getting an update.
Most of the details are being concealed by the heavy camouflage, but it appears the Ghibli will get more aggressive in design. For now, the current tail lights are being used on the prototype, but expect that to change by the time the facelift is complete.

Expect the Italian automaker to give the interior minor updates, but it shouldn’t be anything major since Maserati added the 8.4-inch screen for the 2017 model year. The powertrain should also carry over since the Ghibli received a slight boost in performance on the 3.0-liter V6 to 350 horsepower this year.
We should see the facelifted Maserati Ghibli make its debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show this September.
