The 2017 Chevrolet Spark Activ is heading to dealers in the first quarter of 2017.
Priced from $16,945 including destination, the 2017 Chevrolet Spark Activ comes standard with a manual transmission. Opting for a continuously variable transmission (CVT) will cost $1,100 additional on Chevrolet’s sportier take on the brand’s mini-car.
Featuring unique front and rear fascias, the Spark Activ is further accented by off-road skidplates and a new 15-inch wheel design. Revised suspension raises ride height by 0.4 inch (10 mm). Up front there’s a specific grille pattern with the Activ nameplate, while round fog lights and housings have been integrated in the front bumper. Further giving it more of an off-road-inspired appearance are contrasting wheelhouse moldings and hatchback cladding. Additional unique content on the model includes rocker moldings and roof rails.

Inside the Spark Activ are standard black, heated leatherette front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Standard features on the model include Chevrolet MyLink with a seven-inch color touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, rear-vision camera system, SiriusXM satellite radio, OnStar Guidance Plan, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, air conditioning, cruise control, remote keyless entry, steering wheel controls and power windows with Express Up/Down.
Like the standard Chevrolet Spark, the Activ variant is powered by a 1.4-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine with 98 horsepower and 94 pound-feet of torque while returning 30 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway when equipped with the CVT.
“The new Spark ACTIV is all about adventurous fun and style,” said Steve Majoros, Chevrolet director of Car and Crossover Marketing. “It has an attitude, while still offering the sophisticated, efficient and connected driving experience customers have come to love.”
