Chevrolet will unveil its all-new Silverado 4500HD and 5500HD medium-duty trucks at The Work Truck Show 2018.
The all-new Silverado Class 4 and 5 chassis cab trucks will be on display in Indianapolis from March 6 to March 9 at The Work Truck Show, which is North America’s largest work truck event. Chevrolet hasn’t released very many details on the new 4500HD and 5500HD medium-duty trucks but did say they will be available in regular and crew cab models, with 2WD and 4WD capability, along with a wide range of GWVRs and wheelbases.
Powering them will be Duramax diesel engines with Allison transmissions, a combination that has powered about two million trucks. Inside, the American automaker will offer an expanding suite of driver connectivity and fleet management solutions, such as OnStar, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, and a number of telematics offerings.
