The Chevrolet Camaro is celebrating its 50th birthday in style.
Originally launched on September 26, 1966, the Chevrolet Camaro has become one of the most iconic American sports cars in the world. For its 50th anniversary, Chevrolet has announced the Chevrolet Camaro 50th Anniversary Edition that is available on both the Coupe and Convertible 2LT and 2SS models. The exterior has been finished off in Nightfall Gray Metallic, while convertible models get a black top, and special 20-inch 50th Anniversary wheels and center caps can be found on all four corners on both variants.
The 2LT model will include the RS Appearance Package, but all models receive specific 50th Anniversary stripe package and exterior badges. Up front there is a unique grille with satin chrome accents and a body-colored front splitter.

Lurking behind the special edition wheels are orange brake calipers (front only on LT) and the interior is decked out in unique black leather with suede inserts and orange accent stitching. Other accents inside the cabin include distinct 50th Anniversary treatments on the instrument panel, seatbacks, steering wheel and illuminated sill plates.
The 50th Anniversary Edition Chevrolet Camaro will arrive dealerships this summer and pricing is expected to be announced closer to its release.
