Two American automakers have topped the J.D. Power U.S. Customer Service Index (CSI) Study for the first time.
Cadillac ranked highest among the luxury brands for customer satisfaction with dealer service, while Buick topped the charts among mass market brands. Cadillac achieved an overall CSI score of 872 (out of 1,000) which marked an increase of 14 points compared to 2013. Buick had an overall CSI score of 835, a 26-point improvement compared to the previous year.

Following Cadillac in the luxury brands category was Audi (868), Lexus (867) and Infiniti and Lincoln, both tied with an 865 score. Rounding out the top five in the mass markets category were Volkswagen (830), GMC and MINI (828) and Chevrolet (812).
