The Buick LaCrosse Avenir has made its debut today, adding a second nameplate to the luxurious Buick sub-brand’s portfolio.
The LaCrosse Avenir arrives on the heels of the Enclave Avenir and features similarly high-end equipment. Immediately apparent are the visual changes, such as the three-dimensional mesh chrome grille, Avenir script badging on the doors and model-exclusive 19-inch Pearl Nickel wheels. If you’re feeling extra lavish, you can even go for some 20-inch Midnight Silver units.
Moving inside, the LaCrosse Avenir is set apart from standard versions of the sedan by its Chestnut dash and door trim, Avenir embroidered first-row headrests and Avenir scripted sill-plates. It also offers several features as standard that are optional on other LaCrosse models, such as navigation, a Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound premium audio system and a panoramic sunroof.

The only powertrain available in conjunction with the LaCrosse Avenir is the 310 horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine paired with General Motors’ nine-speed automatic transmission. Twin-clutch all-wheel drive is optional, as is the Dynamic Drive Package – which adds continuously variable dampers and a suite of advanced safety features.
The 2018 Buick LaCrosse Avenir will make its way to dealers in the first-quarter of 2018. It should also be on display at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, so stay tuned for more coverage on the premium sedan from
