Audi RS 3 Sedan Lands in US Starting at $55,450

Pricing for the Audi RS 3 sedan has also been announced.

The high-performance sedan will make its U.S. debut at the 2017 New York Auto Show next week, but you won’t have to wait that long for pricing.

The 2017 Audi RS 3 will start from $55,450 including destination, while the 2018 model year will be priced at $55,875. Only a limited number of 2017 Audi RS 3 sedans will be produced, but they will be the first vehicles arriving in the U.S. and will be preconfigured with carbon fiber inlays, Audi virtual cockpit with MMI Navigation plus, Bang & Olufsen Sound System, 19-inch five-arm-blade design wheels with titanium finish, red brake calipers and the RS sport exhaust system with black tips.

The 2018 Audi RS 3 will join the Audi Sport lineup this summer.

Powering the Audi RS 3 sedan is a 2.5-liter TFSI engine with 400 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission, helping it accelerate from zero-to-60 mph in 3.9 seconds on its way to a top track speed of 155 mph. The top speed can be increased to to 174 mph with the optional Dynamic plus package. Naturally the model comes standard with Audi quattro all-wheel drive.
