Audi’s lineup of crossovers and SUVs will grow by three in the next two years.

Currently, crossovers and SUVs account for a third of the automaker’s global sales, but in China it’s 40 percent and 47 percent in the U.S. Earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show, Audi debuted the Q8 Concept, which will head to production as a flagship SUV and will launch next year.
Joining the Q8 next year will be the e-tron electric crossover, before the Q4 compact crossover arrives in 2019. Audi said the Q4 will take styling cues from the TT Offroad concept that bowed at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, making it another entry in the growing “coupe SUV” segment.
