Audi has revealed a new bespoke creation that defines luxury: the A8L extended.
This king-size six-door sedan measures in at 20.9-ft long and was created as a one-off product for a specific customer, though Audi says that other customers have already shown interest in the car.
It took Audi’s engineers a year to build the A8L extended, with the safety and rigidity of the long car bringing up special challenges. The car uses an Audi Space Frame which is made mostly from aluminum and is reinforced by additional aluminum profiled tubes and cross braces to give this long version nearly the same torsional rigidity as the shorter A8L. A massive 7.9-ft glass panel is a fitted to the roof to help the gorgeous interior feel larger.

All six seats in this car are wrapped in beige Valcona leather while the third row has both an entertainment display and a cool box.
Audi’s 3.0-liter supercharged V6 powers the car, sending 310 horsepower and 324 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. The run from 0 to 62 mph takes the A8L extended 7.1 seconds, while top speed is limited to 155 mph.
