Called the Koenigsegg Agera RS1, it’s the latest addition to Koenigsegg Automotive’s growing U.S.-based family.

The Koenigsegg Agera RS received its RS1 name from its owner, who along with his son, has been intensively involved in the entire specification and build process, the Swedish automaker said in a blog post. The exterior features an Arctic White finish, further highlighted by a specially selected shade of blue that can be seen on the front winglets, side skirts, diffuser and rear wing.

The blue shade continues inside the cabin, with striking blue Alcantara further contrasted by polished carbon fiber and black anodized aluminum.

Powering the Agera RS1 is a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that is developed and hand-built in Sweden, boasting 1,360 horsepower and 1,011 pound-feet of torque. The powerplant is paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission and output is governed by Koenigsegg’s own traction and stability control systems that were developed fully in-house. Weighing 3,075 pounds with all fluids and ready to drive, the Agera RS goes to 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 2.8 seconds.

The Koenigsegg Agera RS1 is the latest in an exclusive series of just 25 Koenigsegg Agera RS vehicles, with only a handful that will be in the U.S.
