Honda will be out to set a record for the longest Rose Parade float on January 1, 2014.

Measuring in at 274 feet in length, Honda’s Rose Parade float will be led by a locomotive car inspired by the upcoming Acura NSX. The NSX will be driven by an ASIMO robot.

Following the NSX will be a second train car that is a Honda engine while the third train car is built to represent Honda’s task-performing robotic arm. The fourth train will feature a pair of LED monitors measuring 30-feet wide and 10-feet tall and will display images of parade-goers along the route. Rounding off the Rose Parade float from Honda will be a float inspired by HondaJet.

As the presenting sponsor for the fourth year, the Japanese automaker’s float will lead the 2014 Rose Parade.
