Acura has released its upcoming Super Bowl commercial starring the new NSX.

The audio for most of the 30-second commercial is provided by rock and roll superstar David Lee Roth’s vocal cords. Rather than playing a tune underneath, Roth’s vocals were separated from the music, so that his rock and roll screams appear to be trumpeting approval for the new NSX.

Acura ran a previous Super Bowl ad in 2012 starring Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno, but this year, the brand wants the car to be the star.

This is the first time Van Halen has ever released “Running’ with the Devil” for use in an advertisement.

A longer 60-second version of the commercial was also released and is seen above. The 30-second spot is scheduled to run during the first quarter of the big game.
