Volkswagen has replaced the CC with a model sporting a real name: Arteon.
For Europeans, the Arteon will be offered with six different engines: three TDI diesels and three gasoline-powered TSI engines. It’s unlikely the three diesel engines will be offered in North America given Volkswagen’s massive diesel scandal, but the gasoline engines offering 188 horsepower and 276 horsepower likely will. There is also a 1.5-liter Eco engine with 148 hp, but don’t expect to see that one reach the U.S. and Canada.

Riding on a 111.9-inch wheelbase, the Arteon offers 19.9 cubic feet of luggage capacity, which increases to 55 cubic feet with the back seats down.
The Arteon will go on sale first in Germany this June before heading to other markets. The German automaker hasn’t shared when it will go on sale in North America yet but did confirm it will come stateside.
