Lexus will pull the sheet from the 2018 LS 500 F Sport next week at the 2017 New York Auto Show.
Available with the LS 500 and LS 500h, the new F Sport trim for this car brings along better handling, a smoother ride and a quieter cabin.
Lexus F Sport models are meant to be more engaging than the standard car, though they are not the all-out performance machines that Lexus build with the ‘F’ lineup. Specially tuned suspension and a limited-slip rear differential are among the usual upgrades to F Sport models.

The powertrain for the F Sport isn’t likely to change, which means a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 hooked to a 10-speed transmission will be responsible for acceleration. Making 415 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, the LS 500 can sprint to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
Check back to next week to see the live debut of the new Lexus LS 500 F Sport.
