Hyundai brought a refreshed 2018 Sonata to the Big Apple.
Following the mantra of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” the 2018 Hyundai Sonata doesn’t boast any major changes but the front end is much more pronounced with a larger mesh grille. The Korean automaker also gave its turbocharged four-cylinder engine an eight-speed automatic transmission, ditching the previous six-speed unit. The chassis itself has been refined to improve ride and handling, with Hyundai saying the recalibrated steering should also be more responsive.
