Honda is teasing its all-new 2018 Odyssey minivan before it debuts at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show in January.
This is the fifth generation of the minivan and Honda says it will feature a new powertrain, new innovating features and sophisticated styling. The proper teaser shows what looks like a slightly lower, sleeker looking Odyssey compared to today’s model while Honda also released teaser “scribbles” from the children (seen below) who were involved in Odyssey development.

“We wanted to have a bit of fun by sharing some of the drawings from children of the Odyssey team members, since they were inspirational in shaping the family-friendly direction of the all-new Odyssey,” said Chad Harrison, chief engineer at Honda R&D America and the development leader of the new Odyssey.
Some of the rumored additions to the Odyssey lineup include a plug-in hybrid model to battle the Chrysler Pacifica plug-in along with the adoption of a nine-speed automatic transmission.
