2018 Genesis G80 Priced Competitively at $42,725

Genesis has also announced pricing on the new Sport model.

The standard Genesis G80 comes equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine generating 311 horsepower and 293 pound-feet of torque. New to the lineup is the 3.3T Sport model powered by a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 365 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. Pricing for that model will start from $56,225. At the top of the Genesis G80 range is the 5.0 Ultimate model powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 420 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque with a starting price of $57,975.

All models come standard with rear-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is available for $2,500 additional.

The new 2018 Genesis Sport trim will arrive dealerships next months while the rest of the enhanced 2018 lineup will be available this summer. Some of the notable changes to the 2018 model year Genesis G80 include an updated grille and lower bumper fascia, available LED headlights with Dynamic Bending Light. There are also new 18-inch alloy wheels, while the rear gets a revised slim-type high mount brake light.
