CARS.COM — We've known the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has been coming since the first teaser back in January. Dodge kept giving us little tastes of what was in store, first at the 2017 Midwest Automotive Media Association Spring Rally in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and then again a few weeks later at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Mich.

The Demon has been available for order since the end of June, but last week was our first real chance to drive the 840-horsepower, drag-strip devil ourselves. If you've been following us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you would've seen that we were in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Raceway with the Demon.
Just after midnight tonight — 12:01 a.m. Eastern time Wednesday, to be exact — we can finally reveal to you what it's like to be behind the wheel of the beast. In the meantime, catch up on our Demon coverage below.
