It’s been a busy week at the AutoGuide.com news desk, and we couldn’t fit all the great stories breaking this week, but we’ve chosen a few, OK, actually a bunch of our favourites for our weekly news roundup.

Yet another teaser for the Dodge Demon has been released and we get to hear the car’s awesome sounding exhaust note… oh wait, that’s how last week’s news roundup started. Well, it’s still true, another week, another Demon teaser and there are still three more to go before its reveal at the New York Auto Show. This time they’re showing off its trick pre-launch torque-loading transmission and some more wild exhaust noises and what we think are the best clues yet to its horsepower rating. That’s not the only exhaust note that dropped this week; Honda finally released a video with its Civic Type R winding its engine up to redline.

Beyond the Demon, we discovered two curious patents that promise performance advancements for the Corvette and an unnamed Toyota (fingers crossed it’s for the Supra!), a lawsuit by Mustang Shelby GT350 owners against Ford over its lack of track durability in base form, Subaru SUV spy shots, McLaren starting a slow tease of its next hypercar, and even more. Like we said, busy week.
