The most luxurious version of the 2018 Buick LaCrosse will start from $45,795 including destination.
Set to arrive dealerships by early February, the 2018 Buick LaCrosse Avenir is $3,700 more than the current range-topping LaCrosse Premium, which starts from $42,095. Shoppers looking for all-wheel drive on the LaCrosse Avenir will face a price tag of $47,995.
The Avenir sub-brand was launched last year in a bid to move Buick more upmarket, and the LaCrosse is the second vehicle to receive the treatment. According to Duncan Aldred, global vice president of Buick and GMC, “Nine out of 10 LaCrosse buyers are choosing one oft he top two trim levels – customers are signaling they want more from Buick.”

The first Avenir model introduced was the Enclave, and according to a company spokesman, approximately 35 percent of Enclave sales have been for the Avenir model.
Additions to the LaCrosse Avenir include a three-dimensional mesh chrome grille, Avenir script badging on the doors, and model-exclusive 19-inch Pearl Nickel wheels. More changes can be found on the inside, with Chestnut dash and door trim, Avenir-embroidered first-row headrests, and Avenir-scripted sill plates. The model also has several features as standard that are normally optional on other LaCrosse variants, including navigation, a Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound premium audio system, and a panoramic sunroof.
The 2018 Buick LaCrosse Avenir is only available with a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 310 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
