BMW has updated its 4 Series lineup for the 2018 model year, giving it a light facelift to keep the styling fresh.

The entire lineup of 4 Series models, including the convertible, Gran Coupe and M4, are all adopting these new looks, which follow in the footsteps of the recently updated 3 Series.

New LED headlights, revised bumpers and new fog lights highlight the changes to the front end, while the rear bumper is also tweaked. New color options include Snapper Rocks Blue and Sunset Orange. On the inside, new trim options are available including double stitching on the instrument panel, while some of the infotainment system menus and functions have been revised.

When it comes time to drive the updated car, the 4 Series model will have a stiffer suspension with BMW saying that the ride will be sportier. This goes for both the standard suspensions setup and the available M Sport suspension.

Powertrain specs haven’t been released yet for the updated car, but we don’t expect BMW to announce any significant changes in this area. That leaves the base 430i with a 248-horsepower turbo four-cylinder and the 440i with a 320-hp inline six. The M4 will still have 425 hp on tap, which can be boosted to 444 hp with the competition package.

Pricing will likely also stick close to last year’s car, starting at around $43,145.
