The 2018 Audi RS3 is heading to the U.S. sporting 400 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.

Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine paired to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and Audi’s signature quattro all-wheel drive. Zero-to-62 mph [0-100 km/h] will be done in just 4.1 seconds, with top speed set at 155 mph. Audi will also raise that limit to 174 mph on request.

Compared to its predecessor, the new Audi RS3 weighs 57 pounds [26 kilograms] less, mostly thanks to a new light-alloy crankcase. Braking performance is impressive, with eight-piston calipers up front paired to 14.6-inch brake rotors. Also available as an option are carbon ceramic brake discs.

Expect to see the Audi RS3 arriving the U.S. in the summer of 2017 with pricing being announced closer to its arrival.
