Packing 640 horsepower, the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is heating things up in New York.
Lurking under the hood is a supercharged V8 engine powering the sixth-generation Camaro ZL1 that can be had with either a six-speed manual transmission or a new 10-speed automatic. Built for the street and track, the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 features an auxiliary transmission oil cooler, functional heat extractors, 11 heat exchangers, front brake cooling ducts and six-piston Brembo brake calipers paired to massive 15.35-inch rotors up front.

Naturally its styling is plenty more aggressive than the standard run-of-the-mill Camaro. There’s a large front splitter, wider fenders and a unique rear spoiler helping package the ZL1 into one attractive muscle car. Inside there are standard Recaro seats, a suede-covered shift knob and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.
Expect the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 to arrive dealerships later this year with pricing announced closer to its launch.
