The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, boasting 650 horsepower, will go 0-to-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, while its quarter-mile time is a blistering 11.4 seconds at 127 mph. Those that prefer the convertible model will be staring down a $69,135 price tag. In announcing the price for the Camaro ZL1, the American automaker also revealed that the 1LE package is a $4,500 option on Camaro V6 LT coupe models and $6,500 on the V8 1SS coupe model. For LT coupes, the package features the FE3 suspension from the Camaro SS, while the 1SS benefits from the ZL1’s electronic limited-slip differential and FE4 suspension with Magnetic Ride dampers.
“Building on Chevrolet’s well-established recipe for track-focused performance, the new 1LE packages expand the performance envelope of the Camaro SS and, for the first time, the Camaro LT,” said Al Oppenheiser, Camaro chief engineer. “You’ll be hard-pressed to find more track-capable cars in their respective classes for the money.”
