Buick is set to debut a refreshed version of its Encore compact crossover at the 2016 New York Auto Show in March.
“While we have no additional details to announce, we’re excited to confirm that media and customers will see the new 2017 Encore at next month’s New York Auto Show,” a Buick spokesman told
Foreshadowing much of what we will se with the new Encore is the recently refreshed Opel Mokka X (seen above). On the outside, expect the Buick to adopt the LED lights and some of the Mokka’s new styling, while the interior of the new Encore will likely be very similar to the Opel.

The touchscreen in the center stack has been better integrated into the dash compared to the current Encore, while technology updates will no doubt include the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
On the safety front, the Mokka is packed with new safety tech that will probably be used in the Encore, including an improved front camera that can detect road signs, an upgraded forward collision alert system and a new lane departure warning system which is activated at speeds over 37 mph.
