Buick has revealed the refreshed 2017 Encore.

Buick’s compact crossover gets a new look along with plenty of new technology in the cabin, though the powertrain options remain the same. You can only get a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder under the hood, though it is offered in two states of tune.

Buick didn’t reveal specific power outputs for the 2017 model, but they will likely stay the same as the 2016 model, offering 138 horsepower as standard and 156 hp as an upgrade option.

Five trim levels are offered with the Encore: Encore (1SB), Encore Sport Touring (1SH), Encore Convenience (1SD), Encore Leather (1SL) and Encore Premium (1SN). Front-wheel drive is standard on all models while all-wheel drive is available.

Inside, new standard features for the Encore include push-button start, keyless entry and an 8-inch touchscreen. An all-new center stack layout has also been used to better blend the instrument panel and the frameless 8-inch screen.

Thanks to the latest version of Buick’s IntelliLink infotainment system, the Encore can now run Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and provide 4G LTE wifi.

The redesigned 2017 Encore will hit dealerships this fall.
