The 2017 Buick Encore has appeared online before its official debut on March 22 at the 2016 New York Auto Show.
The image comes from a Chinese website, so the Encore seen in the photos is destined for the Chinese market, but the updated look should be identical when it arrives in the U.S.
A preview of the Encore was already offered when an updated version of its European sibling the Opel Mokka X debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. Styling between the two models is nearly identical, save for the badging.
The Encore is expected to continue on with a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque.

On the interior, the Encore will likely follow in the Mokka’s footsteps with a touchscreen which has been better integrated into the dash along with the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
A new front camera system with road sign detection and an upgraded forward collision alert system are all likely upgrades for the Buick model, as they also debuted on the new Mokka X.
