A true crossover wagon, the Audi Allroad is all-new for 2017.
Power will come from a host of diesel and gas engines that range in power from 150 hp to 272 hp. Some markets will receive a six‑speed manual transmission, but expect North American models to make due with an eight-speed tiptronic automatic and standard quattro all-wheel drive.
Ride height has been increased 1.3 inches compared to the regular A4 thanks to suspension modifications and larger overall diameter wheels. A suspension with adjustable dampers will be offered in the Allroad as well.

Being a wagon body, the Allroad features increased luggage capacity up to 17.8 cu ft. Flip down the rear seats and overall storage balloons to 53.3 cu ft. And to help make life easier, both the tailgate and cargo cover are power operated. Customers can also order a pivoting trailer hitch that extends electronically at the push of a button.
All of the usual driver assistance and safety features found on modern luxury cars can be had in the A4 Allroad like adaptive cruise control and traffic jam assist. New this year is a feature called trailer maneuver assist that uses the infotainment controller to make it easier to maneuver a trailer.
