2016 Jaguar Door Lock Issue

The problem: In affected vehicles, a condition may occur where the vehicle could lock automatically with both keys inside when operating the exterior door handle. This may be caused by a software glitch in the keyless vehicle module, the device that controls the remote key function.

Vehicles affected by this service bulletin:

  • 2016 Jaguar F-Type
  • 2016 Jaguar XF
  • 2016 Jaguar XJ

Corrective action: Dealers will reprogram the keyless vehicle module.
