The problem: On some cars, the front brake calipers' securing bolts may not have been tightened sufficiently, and the front brake calipers and torque members could become loose, which could affect braking and handling performance.

Vehicles affected by this service bulletin:

  • 2016 Nissan Maxima
  • 2015 Nissan Altima

Corrective action: Dealers will re-torque or, if necessary, replace the front brake caliper/torque member bolts on affected vehicles.
