The problem: Affected vehicles may exhibit an engine oil leak. This may be due to an oil leak from the threads of the engine oil pressure sensor.

Vehicles affected by this service bulletin:

  • 2015 Ford Edge
  • 2015 Ford F-150

Equipped with the turbocharged 2.7-liter gas engine with direct injection, built on or before July 1, 2015

Corrective action: Dealers will diagnose the condition, and if confirmed, remove and reseal the engine oil pressure sensor.

Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the Ford limited new-vehicle warranty.
