The problem: The steering gear on affected vehicles may have been assembled with an incorrect thrust bearing. If not corrected, this could lead to the driver feeling looseness or free play in the steering wheel.

Corrective action: Dealers will replace the steering gear in affected vehicles free of charge.
Warranty info: This repair is being done under the new vehicle warranty. It will stop with the expiration of that warranty.
