Like so many other cars in the industry these days, the 2015 Buick Verano is getting rid of its manual-transmission option.
For 2015, customers can no longer order a Verano Turbo model with a do-it-yourself gearbox, but there are some new features which folks might enjoy. Every new Verano now comes with OnStar 4G LTE and a standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot along with a free subscription to the service for three months.
Besides that new tech, the Verano can now be had in Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic, and those who order the Convenience and Leather packages can now get an appearance package that fits the car with a rear spoiler and bright chrome front grille. Those who opt for that appearance pack also get a new exclusive Desert Dusk Metallic paint.
Engine options stay the same for 2015, with the standard powerplant being a 2.4-liter I4 that makes 180 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque, while Turbo models get a 2.0-liter turbo-four that makes 250 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.
