While other automakers such as BMW are adding as many models as they can to their lineup, Acura is taking a different approach.
The company’s all new 2015 TLX will replace the TL and TSX sedans as its midsized sedan competitor and the production model strayed very little from the concept. Available with two different powerplants, the TLX can be had with either a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 206 hp and 182 lb-ft of torque or a 3.5-liter V6 with 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. The four-cylinder engine will be available with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission while the V6 will sport a nine-speed automatic.

V6 buyers can opt for the brand’s SH-AWD technology, which utilizes torque vectoring to improve the car’s handling. Of course, buyers can also expect all the luxury amenities that have become a staple of the Acura brand. The new model will go on sale later this year and expect pricing to be announced closer to its launch.
