The problem: Drivers of affected SUVs may hear an unusual noise from the rear while the SUV is in motion. The noise may sound like a squeak, squawk or groan, and it may be more pronounced in cold weather. This noise may be caused by a faulty bushing in the rear trailing arm, a part of the suspension.
