AutoAfterWorld.COM — Vehicles affected by service bulletin:
- 2014 Subaru Forester
The problem: Subaru's carpeted floormats may interfere with proper operation of the vehicle's clutch, brake and/or accelerator pedals. Because the resin composition used for the floormat backing was not manufactured to factory specs, the mats can curl when exposed to heat. When the mats curls, they may interfere with the operating pedals. This can result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop, which could cause a crash.

Corrective action: Dealers will replace the carpeted floormats.
Warranty info: This action will be performed free of charge under this service campaign.
